Types of UAE Visas

The UAE offers visas in two main categories: visas for visitors and visas for residents. Each category has several sub-types that travelers can choose from when applying for their UAE visa. Visitor visas include options like tourist visas and transit visas, while resident visas cover work, family, and student visas. Each visa type has specific eligibility criteria and requirements, ensuring that applicants can find a suitable option based on their purpose of visit.

The following visa types are available to foreign nationals coming to the UAE:

Visas for visitors

Jobseeker Visit Visa

This visa type is issued to foreign nationals coming to the UAE to search for new job opportunities. You can obtain this visa with a validity period of 60, 90, or 120 days. A UAE-based host or sponsor is not required.

Eligibility for a jobseeker visa
To get a visit visa for the purpose of exploring job opportunities, the applicant must fulfil the following conditions:
1. He/she must be either:
     a. in the first, second or third skill level as per the Ministry of Human Resources and            Emiratization (MOHRE)
        Level 1:         Legislators, managers, and business executives
        Level 2:         Professionals in scientific, technical and human fields
        Level 3:         Technicians in scientific, technical and humanitarian fields, or
     b. a graduate from the best 500 universities in the world and must have graduated within the last 2 years.
2. He/she must hold a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.
3. He/she must fulfil the prescribed financial guarantee.

Single Entry-Tourist Visa

The foreigner is granted an entry visa for a single visit for the purpose of tourism for a period of 30 or 60 days, and the sponsor / host in UAE should be one of the establishments working in the field of tourism, after paying the prescribed fee and financial security deposit

  3. CNIC copy for the country of origin for some nationalities (Iraq – Pakistan – Iran – Afghanistan)
Multiple Entry Tourist Visa

The UAE offers a multi-entry tourist visa, allowing travelers to enter the country multiple times during a set period, typically 5 years. This visa allows multiple entries over five years, with each stay lasting up to 90 days, extendable for another 90 days.

  1. A passport valid for at least six months from the date of entry
  2. Applicants may need to show proof of sufficient financial means, such as a bank statement showing a balance of at least USD 4,000 or equivalent
  3. Applicants required to provide proof of medical insurance covering their stay in the UAE
Transit Visa

Foreign nationals who plan on entering the UAE for a short period of time on their way to another destination can obtain a transit visa. This visa is not extendable, nor renewable.

There are two types of UAE transit visas: one that is valid for 48 hours and one that is valid for 96 hours.

  3. an onward ticket booking to a 3rd destination, other than the one you are coming from
Family Visit Visa

Note: for Parents – NOC Letter (Required only if sponsoring one of the Parents) Example: If you are only sponsoring the mother, then you must submit an NOC Letter from the father.
If any parent died, the death certificate is required with MOFA attested.
Note: for Partner’s Family – Memorandum & Company Trade License is required instead of Salary certificate

UAE WORK/EMPLOYMENT VISA

UAE FAMILY SPONSOR VISA

At Zeki Travels, we provide comprehensive assistance for securing the 2-year family sponsorship visa in the UAE, allowing residents to sponsor their immediate family members such as spouses, children, or parents. This visa enables families to live together in the UAE, with the sponsor assuming responsibility for their stay. The process requires the sponsor to meet certain income criteria and provide essential documents like proof of relationship, valid UAE residency, and tenancy contracts.

At Zeki Travels, we streamline the entire process, ensuring all paperwork is in order and submitted to the appropriate authorities, such as the ICA or GDRFA. The 2-year visa can be renewed, offering families long-term stability in the UAE. Requirements:It is easier for a male expatriate to sponsor his family members to the UAE than it is for a woman. If you are a man who is on the UAE on a Residence Visa, you can bring the following family members on a Family Visa to the UAE:

  • Your wife. If you are a Muslim resident, you may also sponsor two wives but you must meet certain terms set out by the UAE Govt.
  • Your sons. You can sponsor your sons only if they are 18 or under. If the sons are over 18, you can still sponsor them but only if they are students, and only up to the age of 21. Additionally, if the sons are over 18, they must enter the UAE at least once every six months if studying abroad otherwise their UAE visa will be canceled.
  • Your daughters. You can sponsor your daughters only if they are unmarried.
  • Your parents. You can also sponsor your parents, provided you meet the following conditions:
    • You sponsor both parents unless one of them has passed away
    • You pay a deposit of AED 2,500 as a guarantee for each parent— make sure to check with the corresponding immigration department as this fee may change.
    • You get your parents a medical insurance policy
    • You have a monthly salary of AED 20,000 or an AED 19,000 plus a two-bedroom accommodation

Your stepchildren. You may also sponsor your stepchildren if you get a written No Objection Certificate from the biological parent. The visa for stepchildren is valid for one year and renewable.
